Farah Khan confirms hiking salary of Dilip due to their vlogs, filmmaker says ‘don’t ask me what he earns now’

Filmmaker Farah Khan was previously known for launching Deepika Padukone, re-introducing Zayed Khan (in Main Hoon Na), Shreyas Talpade (in Om Shanti Om) and Abhishek Bachchan (in Happy New Year). Now he is also known for turning an ordinary man into a star. Farah Khan’s vlogs with her cook Dilip not only entertained the masses but also completely changed Dilip’s life. In the last few vlogs, Dilip was demanding that Farah increase her salary. Now he has announced that Khan gave him a raise. Dilip made this statement in his latest vlogs. The lady has also increased my salary. We are very happy. Don’t tell the lady because I am very happy and if I continue to cry, my salary will increase even more).”
Dilip’s salary was a frequently talked about topic in vlogs. In a video featuring Ashneer Grover, her mother shared an interesting information about Dilip. “Dilip told us that he came to Delhi for the first time for a job that paid only 300 rupees.” Farah made an interesting statement, “And when he joined me, his salary was 20,000 rupees. Don’t ask me what he earns now!”
For those who don’t know, Dilip’s life has changed forever since he started featuring in Farah’s vlogs. According to reports, Dilip’s annual income is more than Rs 12 lakh. It has brand agreements with Myntra, Vim. Dilip’s success also helped his children get education in English medium schools. One of his children is getting a culinary degree (to move into the hospitality industry).
