Special session of Parliament LIVE: Bill to implement women’s reservation to be introduced in Lok Sabha today

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Thursday, April 16, 2026, burnt a copy of the Delimitation Bill and called it a “black law” and claimed that it was aimed at making the Tamil people “refugees” in their own land.
Hours before Parliament was due to meet for a special session, Mr Stalin hoisted a black flag and burned a copy of the delimitation bill circulated by the union government, chanting slogans condemning the move.
Among the slogans of Mr. Stalin and others clad in black were “Poradavom, Velvom ondraga” (Let’s fight together, let’s win). – PTI
