Shakira falls hard on stage during El Salvador concert performance, continues on

Shakira proved the show must go on after she slipped and fell on stage during her last concert in El Salvador.

While performing the song “Si Te Vas” in San Salvador on Tuesday as part of his Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, the 49-year-old singer sprained his ankle in the middle of the song, lost his balance and rolled over on stage.

Shakira, who was carrying the microphone stand, hit the ground on her elbow, but quickly recovered and continued the show.

The four-time Grammy Award winner later poked fun at himself by sharing a video of the incident on his Instagram Story, writing: “Don’t worry, I’m made of rubber hahaha.”

Although Shakira played down the moment, the “When, Where” hitmaker’s downfall sparked concern among fans.

Tuesday’s incident isn’t the first time Shakira has rolled over during a concert. In May 2025, Shakira fell while performing at a show in Montreal, Canada, but quickly recovered and finished the show.

At the time, Shakira also posted a video of her fall, writing in Spanish: “As I said… no one can avoid falling!” and “No one is safe from falling!” he added.

The tour, marking its first in seven years, is scheduled to kick off in Rio de Janeiro in February 2025 and run through April 2026, with stops in North America, Latin America, the Middle East and more.
