Punjab’s Golden Temple Receives Bomb Threat, Police Launches Investigation

Amritsar:Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) said in a police complaint that Punjap’s gold temple in Amritsar received a threat of bombs on Monday.

Amritsar commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said the police had a complaint about an E -mail that threatens a explosion in the Golden Temple.

Police commissioner, “Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) officials in the Golden Temple threatened to receive an e -mail threatened to receive a complaint … We get the help of state cyber crimes and other agencies.” He said.

The authority added that the police would break the case and provide security.

Commissioner Bhullar, “hopeful that we will break the case soon. We take this case very seriously. We provide flawless security. There is no need to panic.”

Police recorded a furnace on this issue and launched an investigation.

According to Amritsar Police, bomb disposal teams (BDS), SGPC Force and additional security forces were deployed around the facilities. Authorities have guaranteed that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure security and safety to the public.

Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the police had applied to the public to remain calm and to inform any suspicious activity immediately
