Crime On Steady Rise In Telangana: NCRB Report

Haydarabad: They are not the capital of the country, but the increase in crime rates in both TaLangana and Haydarabad between 2012-2023 points to some disturbing tendencies according to recent crimes in the Indian 2023 report in the National Crime Records Office.

Although marginal, one of the findings in the report was an increase in violence crime, which was a tendency reflected to both the state and Haydarabad. According to the report, Tahangana had an incident of violence in 2021, 9,844, rose to 9,673 in 2022 and then to 10,069 in 2023. The number of these cases for Haydarabad was 1,232, 1,364 and 1,483, respectively.
In the same three-year period, cases that were not included in the scope of general crime and SLL crimes, including the cases under the scope of that time, but registered within the scope of local or special laws, increased from 1.58,809 to 2022 to 2023 and 2023 to 1,83,644 in 2023. For 2021, 2022 and 2023, 1,51,849 and 1,56.737 show a fair leap in SLL cases in 2023.

According to the NCRB report of the state for 2023, the number of cases may not appear, given the population of 381.35 lakh and 77.49 Lakh for the same year. However, when the data is proved, it shows that the state has recorded 16 cases per hour in 2021, which rose to 17 hours in 2023. In the case of Haydararabad, the number of IPC cases was 17,951, 20,668 and 21.74 for these three years.
In 2021, the number rose to 2.4 cases (or 24 cases in 10 hours) in 2023.
Although there is a steady, a slow increase in crime in Hyderabad and TaLangana, the NCRB report may indicate that numbers are an increase in crime, while the same increase in numbers may have some citizen-centered police initiatives such as e-Fir Facilities or women’s release tables.
NCRB also clearly stated that the increase in the crime numbers requires a more professional investigation to “appropriately address the relevant problems of the underlying factors related to local communities”.
This observation of NCRB seems to be a call for an action for Tahangana police with the report that Haydarabad reported the second highest number of follow -up cases in 416 with a much higher population in 416 in 416 in 2023. Similarly, TaLangana ranked eighth in the country with 3.154 cases regarding the protection of their children, while the state ranked eighth in the country, the state reached the peak according to the 1987 cases of Mental Health Law. According to the NCRB report, TaLangana has 254 cases, has 254 cases, the highest with the rest of the country’s four states – the highest of the country – Kerera, such a case, 70 is 70.
