Cincinnati Open: Iga Swiatek to face Jasmine Paolini in final

World IgA Swiatek, the number three, received a straight victory against Elena Rybakina to reach the Cincinnati Open Final, where she will meet Jasmine Paolini.
The meetings last year’s French Open Final – Poland won a dominant style by Swiatek.
Reigning Wimbledon champion Swiatek exceeded Kazakhstan’s Rybakina 7-5 6-3 on Sunday to reach the first Cincinnati show.
Rybakina, who defeated the world’s number one Aryna Sabalenka in the quarterfinals, began brightly, but she could not take advantage of an early break in the first set before Swiatek seized control.
“This was a difficult match,” Swiatek said. “Initially, it was quite crazy, we played so fast that sometimes we couldn’t even run to the second ball.
“I was there to play intensity and quality and I am very happy with your performance.
“It will be very difficult in the final. I will have to prepare tactically, but I will focus on myself and try to continue my work.”
Italy’s Paolini, the semi-final 6-3 6-7 (2-7) 6-3’te Russian Veronika Kudermetova’yı passed.
Paolini served only for the match in the second set to see that his advantage was lost, but the story of the match was Kudermesetova’s 75 forced faulty mistakes.
The final is taking place on Monday night.
