Oasis fans miss reunion gig after fake Cardiff ticket sales

ReutersDozens of Oasis fan, who believes that they bought a special box for the Saturday concert in Cardiff, says they have paid hundreds of pounds for tickets they never bought.

Caerphilly, Neil Stephens of Crumlin, said that he was “unsassembled” for the ticket for himself and his wife.
“My wife Hannah, literally the world’s largest oasis fan,” he said.
“I got a phone call from my friend who asked him that he knew someone with a box and whether we were interested.
“He said he was a gentleman named David Gray. The customer of the Principality stadium and organized many corporate events there.
“As the guest of Mr. David Gray, I have friends who go to Foo Fighters and Rugby.

“There was no alarm bell. There was no reason to convince him, it really didn’t.”
Mr. Stephens, after confirming Mr. Gray’s tickets last summer, just a week before the concert, worries began to emerge, he said.
One day before the concert, Mr. Stephens and his friend decided to go to the speaking inn near Pembroke, a pub, owned and operated by Mr. Gray’s family.
“I introduced myself and said that the problem was on a mobile phone, which he said was the phone with all tickets.” He said.
“In fact, during the period we spent in Pub, he bought a phone call from a man flying from Gibraltar for the concert.
He continued: “He said he would meet us outside the third door at 16:30 and will solve it.”

‘It just makes me feel sick’
Mark Bonnici from Machen, Caerphilly, said he had no reason not to trust Mr. Gray, whom he said he had known for years.
He paid £ 1,200 for four tickets and said the experience made him feel “sick”.
Mr. Gray had presented hospitality tickets for his rugby, where he went smoothly.
When he asked him if he was interested in Oasis tickets, Mr. Bonnici said yes and transferred the money.
Bonnici said, “His phone was playing and he can’t transfer tickets.” He said.

Mr. Bonnici said that only many of them were affected after his daughter was published on social media and in contact with hospitality at the Principality Stadium.
