Mineral Resources opens glitzy love nest FIFO camp Mungala Resort at its Onslow Iron mine in WA’s north

Mineral Resources cut the lane in a luxurious accommodation complex equipped with the “Love-Yuva” dongas to host the workers of a iron ore mining operation that could or break the company led by Chris Ellison.

Minres officially opened Mungala Resort of $ 140 million at the $ 3.5 billion on the $ Ond Iron Project in Pilbara on Thursday.

Mungala can host up to 500 employees at any time and is the most exaggerated mining site camp built in Western Australia.

There are abundance of entertainment opportunities, a facility -style swimming pool, cricket network, football oval, mini golf field, virtual golf driving range, car race simulators and tennis, basketball and volleyball courts.

The site includes six tons of crayfish and 18 tons of steak every year and a up -scale dining room.

Thirty years later, the worker Lisa Vines, who joined Minres in the public sector, described the camp as “Pilbara’s Club Med”.

Each of the 500 rooms of the camp has a living space of 45 square meters and contains its own queen bed, mini kitchen, en-water, salon, large screen TV and laundry.

According to the minister, the rooms called “love nests” or “love huts ında in the mining industry are suitable for single or couples.

Many mining companies frowned on romantic mixing in camps, and thinks that the population of the Minres contains 23 pairs.

He believes that romantic partners will “encourage labor diversity,” the red carpet will “encourage the diversity of labor.

Mresrea Chapman, Director of Minres, said, “We have seen that diversity or having such a beautiful environment has already attracted more people, that there are people who may not think of FIFO as an option before. And it includes these women,” he said.

“But in addition to being beautiful, at the same time safe. Security cameras, the life of the open plan, the fact that plants are really lying low, all of which are really done to provide better safety outputs for all our people.”

Chapman said that it was “incredibly competitive ve in Mungala, and Minres has a long internal waiting list for men and women who want to work in Ounslow because of the luxury camp.

“Your partner is here to relax stress from your day. We can talk to each other physically, which makes the interaction much more enjoyable.”

Mr. Ellison, who is not on the media tour of the opening of the site, said in a statement that the company’s traditional mining camps should “develop” to partially “develop”.

Attracting and keeping the staff in Onslow is a key priority for Minres, considering the vital role in digging the company through a financial hole.

Minres had $ 5.8 billion and $ 450 million in cash debts until the end of the March quarter. The company has cut more than 1740 work in this financial year.

OnSlow, which struggles with lithium mines and produces relatively small amounts of cash in other iron ore mines, is seen as the main solution by many analysts to pay Minres to pay the large loan pile.

Onslow produced the first iron ore in May last year, but in the first operation, he faced a number of mishaps;

Minres is currently being investigated by the corporate police of Australia, which is an investigation to focus on the alleged relations of Mr. Ellison and its partners.
