VinFast may appoint an Indian to lead the charge in Indian market

Vietnamese automobile manufacturer Vinfast wants to appoint Hyundai India’s worshiper Ghosh as the general manager of the newly released electric sports public vehicles and Indian car manufacturers Tata and Mahindra.

According to two directly aware of the issue, Ghosh has already entered its newspapers and is preparing to join the Indian unit of Vietnam on 16 October.

Development comes about two weeks after the Vietnamese automobile manufacturer starts two electric SUVs in India, VF6 and VF7, which will compete with the offers of the Indian car manufacturer Tata and Mahindra La16- La24 Lakh price range.

The queries sent to Hyundai India and Vinfast remained unanswered until the press time.

So far, Tamil Nadu, which will produce 50,000 cars to be scaled up to 300,000 of the company, has already pioneered the strategy in India, where the company has already established a parliamentary facility in Throwhukudi. Vinfast has invested about $ 2 billion in India for the next few years.

To lead the competition in India, Vinfast reportedly trusted Ghosh, who started his career in 1995 with Hindustan Motors. Since then, Ghosh, Honda Cars, Mahindra and Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki India and Tata Motors, including many companies, in 2013 before joining Hyundai’e worked according to the LinkedIn profile.

Vinfast’s strategy in India was seen in July, unlike Tesla, who officially entered the country with the launch of showrooms in Mumbai and Delhi. While Vinfast was committed to local manufacturing, and now an Indian leadership, Tesla has so far kept his offer small with two showrooms and remote leadership.

Isabel Fan, Director of Tesla’s South East Asia, directed Tesla’s launch in the center of India and Asia.

Experts pointed out that foreign car manufacturers should invest in a local leadership and trust Indian names to get a successful proposal in the Indian market at a time when Indian car manufacturers such as Tata Motors and Mahindra and Mahindra concentrate.

“Considering how Tesla positions him in the Indian market, they will need executives with premium car experience,” Amit Kaushik, General Manager of Urban Science India, Urban Science India. He said. “However, what is remarkable is that the company does not go to a very senior rental to raid the Indian market.”

Vinfast’s aggressive strategy was surprised by Vinfast’s aggressive strategy in the range of proposals sold by Tata and Mahindra, but analysts said that consumers need the best Indian leaders to trust the brand.

S&P Global Mobility Director Puneet Gupta pointed out that Vinfast’s running to the summit would not be that easy.

Gupta said, “Customers already have blocking the houses, so an additional uncertainty about a relatively unknown brand in the Indian market will not facilitate things for Vinfast. He said.
