India Unleashes 900 KM Death Drone: Homegrown Loitering Munition To Hunt Down Enemies; China-Pakistan Border Threats Just Got A Deadly Answer | India News

Imagine a weapon that can fly for 9 hours, cover 900 kilometers, hunt targets with AI precision and hit with lethal accuracy while remaining invisible to enemy radars. Sound like science fiction? Not so. India has made this a reality.

A Game-Changing Defense Agreement with Global Impact

In a game-changing move that will send shockwaves through the military installations of China and Pakistan, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) and Solar Defense & Aerospace Ltd have signed a major agreement to develop and mass-produce India’s first indigenous long-range rover munition, a 150 kg-class ‘kamikaze drone’ designed to hunt and destroy enemy targets deep inside enemy territory.

India’s Response to Regional Drone Threats

This is not an ordinary defense project. This is where India responds to China’s drone swarm threat and provocations on the Pakistan border with a home-grown assassin in the sky.

The gun’s secret sauce? NAL’s indigenous 38 HP Wankel Rotary Engine is currently suitable for both manned and unmanned platforms. This powerhouse will provide stray munitions with a devastating range of 900 kilometers, an endurance of 6-9 hours and a service ceiling of 5 kilometers.

AI Precision and Combat Capabilities Rejected by GPS

This means India can now launch drones that patrol the skies for hours, independently identify targets using AI-based electro-optical sensors, and strike with pinpoint accuracy even in GPS-banned areas that China and Pakistan believe are safe.

Packed with the Latest Combat Technology

Its technical specifications are impressive; The drone can navigate without GPS, making it immune to GPS interference, avoiding enemy radars with its low-visibility design, using artificial intelligence to detect targets, and still allowing human operators to take control until the last moment.

Rapid Production for the Armed Forces

Solar Defense is building a dedicated final assembly and testing line for rapid production. Initial supplies will go to the Indian Army and Air Force, and export potential is already on the table under India’s aggressive new defense export policy.

A Major Leap Forward for India’s Defense Future

Defense experts say it is a breakthrough, giving India a fully indigenously produced long-range drone that can patrol battlefields, locate high-value targets and shoot them down accurately without putting pilots at risk.
