Not opposed to legal rice exports, but black market of PDS rice will not be tolerated, says Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar

Nadendla Manohar, Minister of Civil Services, said that the government government is not against rice exports as long as they are in accordance with the official guidelines.

Manohar, who addressed a study meeting with joint collectors and civil materials officials from Visakhapatnam and Nellore regions from Visakhapatnam and Nellore regions, emphasized the need for strict action against the illegal rice transport, especially for the public distribution system.

“Exporters can legally progress by following the government’s projected procedures, Mr Mr. Manohar said, stressed that there should be no possibility of PDS rice for export.
