People from All Religions Found Peace at Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Spiritual Centre: AP CM

Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said that people of all religions and communities from around the world find peace in the Sri Sathya Sai Center Foundation started by the late spiritual leader Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Addressing the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s birth here, the Prime Minister said that people find answers to their problems in the spiritual center and those who come with burdens return feeling renewed.
“People from every religion and every community from all over the world found peace here. They found solutions to their difficulties and problems. Those who came with burdens returned with renewed energy,” Naidu said. he said.
Describing Sathya Sai Baba as the image of God walking on earth, the CM said that he was the embodiment of the late spiritual guru’s motto of ‘love all, serve all, help all, never hurt’ and demonstrated these virtues to all.
According to Naidu, Sathya Sai Baba lived with the zeal for world peace, global prosperity and happiness for all, among other exemplary principles.
Naidu said that apart from turning atheists towards spirituality, Sathya Sai Baba’s influence was so profound that his devotees ranged from ordinary people to heads of state.
The TDP president emphasized that devotees from all over the world come to donate hundreds of millions of rupees and renounce worldly possessions to spend a peaceful and joyful life in the presence of Sathya Sai Baba.
‘Wherever I go, in any country, when I say I am from Andhra Pradesh, many foreigners tell me: ‘We visited Puttaparthi, we got Baba’s blessings.’ “This is the greatness and divine glory of the Father,” he said.
Referring to Baba’s welfare activities, Naidu said that 60,000 students from kindergarten to doctoral education are receiving free education in 102 Sathay Sai educational institutions.
More than 3,000 patients are receiving free treatment through Sathya Sai hospitals and the spiritual organization has benefited 30 lakh people by spending 550 million rupees to provide drinking water to 1,600 villages in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.
The CM also said that Sathya Sai Trust has spent 250 million rupees on the Chennai drinking water modernization scheme, among many other activities. Sathya Sai Trust operates through 2,000 centers in 140 countries and has a network of 7.5 lakh active members.
The central and state governments will fully support the centenary celebrations, he said, adding that the Andhra Pradesh government has already officially organized the Sathya Sai Centenary celebrations. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for issuing a special Rs 100 coin and postage stamp in honor of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Saying that Prime Minister Modi firmly believes in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’s ideal of ‘The World is One Family’, Naidu underlined that the Prime Minister has brought India’s traditions, Ayurveda, spiritual heritage, yoga and meditation to the global stage.
