Trump asked Zelenskiy if Ukraine could hit Moscow, FT reports

(Reuters) -US President Donald Trump encouraged Ukraine to in -Russian territory in depth, and even asked if the United States could hit Moscow if long -range weapons provided.

Referring to two people familiar with the conversation, the newspaper said that Trump spoke to Ukrainian colleague a day after talking to Russian President Vladimir Putin on July 4th.

Trump also discussed to send Ukraine’s US -made ATACMS missiles by referring to the same sources.

The White House did not respond immediately to a Reuters comment request. The Reuters could not verify the report.

Trump said he was disappointed with his call with Putin at that time because it was not understood that the Russian leader wanted to stop Russia’s war against Ukraine.
