SPECIAL: New photos obtained by Fox News Digital show Vice President JD Vance training with US Navy SEALs in California; a 90-minute workout that the vice president later said left him feeling like he had been “hit by a freight train.”

The footage shows Vance carrying logs, paddling in the ocean, running on the beach and climbing an obstacle rope course alongside a group of SEALs.

“Just finished PT with the Navy SEALs for 90 minutes,” Vance wrote in an X post on Monday. “They didn’t pay much attention to me, and I still feel like I got hit by a freight train.”

Vance used the moment to praise the military’s special operations forces, writing that he was “so grateful to all of our warriors who keep us safe and maintain the highest standards around the world.”
