Tui flight makes emergency landing at Birmingham Airport after take-off bird strike

A TUI flight from Cardiff airport to Cyprus declared an urgent situation and shortly after the departure, he had to turn to Birmingham after a bird strike.

Birmingham Airport Spokesman: “Birmingham Airport temporarily suspended the operations at 17:00 for about 30 minutes to accept the deviation of a TUI.
“In line with normal procedures, the fire department of the airport came across the plane. The plane landed safely and was taxed.”
