Sudan cholera rate rising at ‘alarming’ rate, says UN
The UN Health Agency said that the number of cholera cases reported in Darfur has increased in Darfur and that more than 3000 people died of illness in the last 14 months of Sudan.

In general, more than 113,600 cases and more than 3000 deaths have been reported in the country and reached a mortality rate of 2.7 percent, far above a target threshold.
