Adopt multi-disciplinary approach to enhance knowledge, says APSCHE Vice-Chairman

G. Srinivas, Registrar (FAC), Cluster University, Kurnool, held an interaction meeting with the principals and lecturers of the three colleges that form the university on Saturday.
At the meeting attended by academicians and faculty members, the development of the university, skill development and student-centered reforms that should be made at the university were discussed. Venkata Basava Rao, Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Cluster University and S. Vijaya Bhaskar Rao, Vice-Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), were the chief guests of the meeting.
Mr. Vijaya Bhaskar Rao discussed various issues related to teaching and research with the principals of the three colleges and asked them to share and utilize available resources with them. He suggested principals to adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to enhance their knowledge and research capabilities and asked them to strive to align teaching with the needs of the industry.
Registrar Srinivas said the university is committed to the overall development of rural students through innovative teaching and research programmes.
