“Worst EVER” – Trump slams Super Bowl after Bad Bubby tribute | US | News

The Super Bowl was sensationally overshadowed by a war of words between US President Donald Trump and headline-grabbing figures including headliner Bad Bunny, who used the platform provided by his halftime performance to criticize Trump.
At the end of the performance, Bad Bunny received a huge reaction from the audience by naming all the Latin countries in America, as well as Canada and the United States, in what was seen as an anti-Trump message.
He also showed an American football with the words “Together We Are America” written on it. A giant sign in the background read: “The only thing stronger than hate is love.”
Trump responded moments later with a post on the Truth Social platform in which he expressed anger at the handling of America’s most important annual sporting event.
Trump said: “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst shows ever!”
“This means nothing, is an insult to American Greatness, and does not represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.
“No one understands a word this man says, and the dancing is disgusting, especially to young children watching from all over the United States and the world. This ‘Spectacle’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ for our country.”
In response to the Bad Bunny performance, one fan said: “I don’t follow Bad Bunny, but if he keeps doing things like ‘God destroy America, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, etc…’ and takes advantage of public space in ‘America, Trump’s orange square’ to say it, then yes.”
Another added: “This isn’t my kind of music but it was a good show and an anti-Trump message as expected.”
A third wrote: “Wow, what an amazing and deeply emotional show from Bad Bunny with Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin; a clear message to Trump’s populist far right and a huge tribute to the Latin world. Congratulations. Even though I’m not a fan of his, he really impressed me.”
A fourth gushed: “This place, on American soil, right in the middle of the Trump administration, is so powerful. Bad Bunny is so big!”
Regarding the music the show seemed to spark a divided response, with some calling it “incredible” while others said it was the “worst halftime show ever”.
However, one of them spoke out angrily: “No reaction from the crowd to this halftime show. The crowd looks dead or missing hahaha.”
