Ange Postecoglou sacked by Nottingham Forest after 3-0 home loss to Chelsea
Nottingham Forest sacked manager Ange Postecoglou immediately after losing 3-0 to Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday, leaving Chelsea in 17th place and on the verge of entering the relegation zone.
Australian Postecoglou became the first Forest manager to fail to win any of his first eight games in charge of a Midlands side, and the 2-0 score was on the wall when club owner Evangelos Marinakis gave up his seat in the stands.

There was an echoing chorus of boos at the final whistle and Postecoglou cut down a lone figure near the center circle as the handful of Forest fans left behind applauded.
Chelsea’s Pedro Neto had a goal and an assist in three minutes at The City Ground and although the visitors were reduced to 10 men after Malo Gusto’s sending off, they kept a clean sheet as the win lifted Enzo Maresca’s side into fourth place.
Postecoglou rolled the dice by changing his half after the last defeat and Forest had the brighter start of the two teams but were unable to find the goal in a goalless first half.
Chelsea had a new-look midfield; Cole Palmer was sidelined for another six weeks and Enzo Fernandez was not included in the squad, while Moises Caicedo was only on the bench.
Maresca was watching from the stands due to a one-match touchline ban and the Italian had his head in his hands when three crucial errors gave Forest clear chances.
Fortunately for Chelsea, the home side failed to capitalize on the mistakes; Morgan Gibbs-White went close with two great opportunities, curling a shot wide into the top corner and then losing it with an acrobatic effort minutes later.
