KYIV (Reuters) -Kraine’s Anti -Corruption organs on Saturday, two days after the restoration of the independence of the agencies after the major protests, they have revealed a large graft plan that provides signal jamming systems at inflated prices.

The independence of Ukraine anti-graft inspectors and prosecutors, Nabu and Sapo, on Thursday by Parliament, have resulted in the country’s largest demonstrations since the occupation of Russia in 2022.

In a statement published by both agencies on social media, Nabu and SAPO said that they had bribed bribes by a seating deputy, two local authorities and a large number of national guards. None of them were defined in the statement.

“The essence of the program was to conclude the contract with supplier companies with deliberately inflated prices.” Four people were arrested.

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said, “Only zero tolerance for corruption, open teamwork to reveal corruption, and as a result a fair sentence.”

Among the Ukrainians, Zelenskiy, which has a comprehensive war -time presidential forces and has received extensive approval, was forced to a rare political surface when the attempt to put Nabu and Sapo under the control of the general prosecutor triggered the protests of the war in the first country.

Zelenskiy later said that he heard the anger of the people and presented a bill that restored the old independence of the agencies voted by Parliament on Thursday.

Ukraine’s European allies praised the movement by expressing concerns about the original robbing of the status of agencies.

The senior European authorities told Zelenskiy that he had endangered the proposal of membership of the European Union by blocking the forces of Ukraine’s anti -Graft officials.

Zelenskiy on Saturday, after meeting with the presidents of the agencies informed about the last investigation, “Anti -corruption institutions are important to operate independently, and the law adopted on Thursday guarantees every opportunity for a real struggle for corruption.”
