One Nation is seriously threatening Labor in Victoria

Some of Labor’s long-held seats in Victoria are about to come under serious threat; The orange wave could be the thing to bring down the red wall in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
After next month’s Farrer by-election, most attention will turn to November’s Victorian state election, where Labor’s primary polls have fallen significantly from 37% in 2022 to the mid-20s in recent polls (although they remain competitive on a two-party preferred basis). Voting intention surveys have been released in six states so far this year, and in five of them One Nation’s vote share is 20% or higher.
