Millie Bright: England defender retires from international football

England defender Millie Bright announced that she is quitting national football.

The 32-year-old player, who was in England’s European Championship-winning team in 2022, made his debut in September 2016 and went on to play 88 times.

“I’ve been weighing this for a long time,” Bright said on Monday’s ‘Rest is Football: Daly Brightness’ podcast.

“This is one of those decisions that no one can make for you. It’s a feeling and I’m at peace with it.”
