Munir’s Reign Of Terror: Imran’s Sisters Detained, PTI Banned, While Trump Fills Pakistan’s Begging Bowl | World News

In Pakistan, behind the walls of Adiala Prison, something sinister is unfolding that should alarm everyone who values democracy. Two old women are being dragged away by the police. Their crimes? They want to meet their detained brothers. But this isn’t just any family drama; This is the latest chapter in Pakistani Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir’s terror campaign in which dissent is suppressed, sisters are arrested and political parties are banned overnight. And across the seven seas, Donald Trump continues to fill Munir’s begging bowl with billions.
Sisters Under Siege
Imran Khan’s sisters Uzma and Aleema arrived at Adiala Jail along with hundreds of PTI workers demanding to meet their brother. Why? Shehbaz and Münir went back on their promises. Following previous protests, one sister was given permission to visit Imran on a weekly basis. Within a week, the Pakistani government betrayed its promise and denied them access.

When night fell and the protests began in the cold, the demonstrators were sprayed with icy pressurized water. When Imran’s supporters refused to break in, police vehicles arrived in broad daylight and detained Imran’s sisters. If PTI people had not been there, anything could have happened to them.
PTI Banned in Punjab
While Munir targeted Imran’s family, Shehbaz dealt a political blow. The Punjab Assembly passed a resolution banning Imran’s party PTI from operating in Pakistan’s political heartland. In the resolution, he accused PTI of anti-national activities. Now Imran’s party cannot carry out any political activities in Punjab.
Defiant Supporter
A viral footage from Adiala Jail captured it all. When police fired water cannon on protesters, an Imran supporter defied the freezing blast and became a human shield. This unknown stalwart stood tall with his chest exposed, as if sending a message to Munir: “Imran may be in jail, but the streets of Pakistan are in the hands of his followers.”
This is not the first time. In 2023, when Imran was jailed in the Al-Qadir Trust case, millions took to the streets and set fire to the headquarters of the Pakistani army, Munir’s stronghold.
Trump’s Billion Dollar Gift
While Munir struggles at home, Trump continues to shower kindness from across the ocean. Pakistan reportedly received a new IMF bailout worth Rs 11,000 billion after Trump’s intervention; This overruled the IMF’s earlier aid freeze due to Pakistan’s failure to implement tax reforms.
Münir’s begging bowl is full again, thanks to Trump. But Pakistanis know where this money went to terrorists Hafiz Saeed, Talha Saeed and Masood Azhar, who conspired against India.
