Driver who ran over and killed world’s oldest marathoner Fauja Singh arrested

The police in India arrested a man who was alleged to have turned his car into an British national who believed to be the oldest marathon runner.

Fauja Singh died at the age of 114 after a car was shot while trying to cross a road in Beas Pind in Jaladhar, Jaladhar in the Western province of Punja on Monday.

Punjab police reported that 33 -year -old Amritpal Singh Dhillon was arrested on Tuesday night from his home in Jalandhar region. The suspect said the police returned from the town of Bhogpur when the incident took place.
