Sharif Osman Hadi to be buried next to national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam tomorrow
Inqilab Mancha said in a statement: “At the request of the family, it was decided that Hadi will be buried next to the grave of the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and the funeral prayer will be performed on Manik Mia Boulevard tomorrow after the noon prayer.” Hadi died at Singapore General Hospital on Thursday.
Inqilab Mancha, in its post on social media, said that Bangladesh youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi will be buried next to the country’s national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, upon the request of his family, and the funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday. Hadi, 32, was the spokesman for the Inqilab Mancha group, which was founded late last year. Bangladesh has been grappling with violent unrest since Thursday night after Hadi died while receiving treatment at a hospital in Singapore.
