Search for gunman after man nearly hit in drive by shooting in Adelaide

A manhunt is underway to catch a gunman after shots were fired at an occupied car in Adelaide.
Police were called to Boomerang Road in Croydon Park at around 1.40am on Thursday.
Shocking footage of the attack shows a single shot being fired at a Mitsubishi sedan parked on the street.
The owner of the car was sitting in the vehicle when the bullet hit him.
A black Mercedes sedan was seen leaving the scene.
Police are investigating whether the attack is linked to a car fire 30 kilometers north of Penfield Gardens.

A Mercedes sedan was found burnt out on Angle Vale Road just before 2.30am.
“The vehicle was completely destroyed and it is believed that the fire was started deliberately,” police said.
