I plunged into hell after dying on the operating table. The devil tortured me in the most heinous way… then God arrived

A woman who says she experienced the horrors of hell after clinically dying on the operating table insists God sent her there on purpose.

Camille Gent, a Christian pastor in Oregon, told the Daily Mail how, during a medical emergency in 2013, she felt like she had descended into hell, where demons crawled over her flesh, clawed at her skin, and tormented her with false visions of her family.

He describes how he was thrown through multiple deteriorating realms, each darker than the last, before reaching the fourth level where he confronted Satan.

He believed that God sent him there specifically so that he could survive and share the knowledge of what awaited sinners.

But when he confronted the devil, he describes the giant hand of God appearing from above, scattering the demons and lifting him back to Earth.

He then describes being shot upward like an arrow by two great angels and witnessing heaven covered with glittering grass and swaying daffodils, where God and Jesus rejoiced on their thrones.

Gent says he spent three days there transforming himself into a perfect, healthy human body.

He saw praise flowing like breath, flowers swaying as angels worshiped, and words from God flowing over him like waterfalls of love and energy.

He saw God and Jesus laughing with joy in the throne room and related this to Psalm 2:4: ‘He who dwells in the heavens will laugh: the Lord will mock them.’

Gent told the Daily Mail that God reviewed the mistakes and trials in his life and conveyed that they had all shaped him – before sending him back to Earth with a healed heart.

‘She leaned down, pointed her big finger at my face and said, make no mistake, Camille, I know everyone’s heart.’

He told how God told him that he was saved from hell because he believed that Jesus sacrificed himself for his sins.

His family says he never woke up from a 13-day coma after going into septic shock. Camille, on the other hand, recalls that her ordeal in hell lasted for days.

He said he communicated telepathically with God while in a coma: ‘I wasn’t even talking to him but he could hear everything and was telepathic and said: ‘Because of the blood [of Jesus].’

Once Gent returned to his hospital bed and finally regained consciousness, he realized that superficial pursuits such as fame and fortune were meaningless, which served to confirm his Christian devotion and purpose.

He credits his survival and miraculous recovery from his coma to his faith, thanks to God’s intervention.

Gent’s medical ordeal began when his pacemaker contracted a potentially fatal black mold infection that grew in his home and triggered sepsis, strokes, organ failure and three comas.

Doctors could not explain how he survived a series of complications that included Stage 4 heart failure, internal bleeding, blood clots in the lungs and brain aneurysms.

Remarkably, his heart healed completely, eliminating the need for a pacemaker, transplant or quadruple bypass surgery.

Her nurse, Patty Woods, reportedly cried and said: ‘Camille, your heart is healthier than it was before you got sick… I don’t know but something has happened.’

Gent was hospitalized for more than three months, losing his left leg and right toes to sepsis, but reported that his symptoms of cirrhosis, temporary paralysis, rheumatoid arthritis, and paralysis disappeared after the near-death experience.

‘Oregon Health and Science University’s chief cardiologist, Dr. Craig Broberg still teaches [about] ‘I,’ he says.

‘He gives lectures about me because he can’t imagine how I live. ‘I always told him I went to heaven because I didn’t even need a pacemaker afterwards.’
