Former British soldier is charged with murdering Kenyan woman, 21, and dumping her body in hotel septic tank

A former British soldier was accused of the murder of a 21 -year -old woman who was killed more than ten years ago.
Agnes Wanjiru was killed and his body was later thrown into a hotel’s septic tank in Nanyuki in 2012 after allegedly held a night party with British soldiers.
Mysterious death has led to anger in Kenya, and his family has been fighting for justice for a long time.
However, in a major development, an old British soldier from the Duke of Lancaster Regiment of the Northwest Infantry Regiment was accused of the Supreme Court in Nairobi this morning.
Justice Alexander said that the prosecutors had sufficient evidence to request the suspect’s withdrawal at a Kenya court for a hearing.
The Kenya government is now expected to start procedures to return it to the trial of military Kenya.
While serving in that country, a return of an old British soldier for a murder in foreign land was not seen.
A document from the Kenya Supreme Court seen by Times says: ‘The court states that the accused person who was mentioned above by the Public Prosecutor’s Office on behalf of the Republic is accused of the following crime.’

The details of the crime are read: ‘[Name of the soldier]On the night of 31/1 March 2012, he killed Agnes Wanjiru Wanjiku at Lions Court Lodge in Nanyuki in Laikipia. ‘
The identities of the defendants and witnesses cannot be published for legal reasons.
Mrs. Wanjiru was last seen on March 31, 2012 at Lion’s Court Hotel for one night with British soldiers.
About three months later, his body disappeared that night until he was poured into a septic tank. She had a five -month -old daughter when she disappeared.
Mrs. Wanjiru was stabbed next to her waist and was exposed to a broken arm and leg. Pathologists later claimed that these injuries may not be fatal – when the tank was thrown into the tank, he raised the possibility that he was still alive.
His body was found only 50 meters away from the rooms reserved by British soldiers according to the hotel records.
