Why is Jasprit Bumrah not playing today’s match against South Africa in Dharamshala?

Jasprit Bumrah will not be able to play in the 3rd T20I match against South Africa. During the toss, India captain Suryakumar Yadav revealed the reason for Bumrah’s absence. Also, Axar Patel is not available for the third T20I.
India will be without Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel for the third T20I match against South Africa in Dharamsala. While Bumrah serves as India’s leading pacer, Axar plays a vital role as an all-rounder in the T20I squad. During the toss, India’s captain Suryakumar Yadav announced that they were not included in the match XI. Bumrah cannot attend this match due to personal reasons and Axar is also not feeling well.
“We’ll bowl first. It’s been a good wicket all weekend and I don’t think it’s going to change much, but there’s already a bit of dew and we feel it’s going to get heavier later on. So, we’re happy to bowl first. It’s a great place, great people and a great ground. I hope we can give everyone good entertainment when we bat-bowl. Every game is important. The way they played in the second game showed the beauty of this sport. The most important thing is how you play. Come back and that’s what we want to do tonight, play our best.” Play, have fun and be fearless. If we stay open for three hours, it will be important for us. We have made two forced changes, Axar Patel is missing the field due to illness and Jasprit Bumrah is also out due to personal reasons at home,” said Suryakumar Yadav. he said after winning the toss.
Harshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav have been included in the playing XI for the first time in this series. Unfortunately, Sanju Samson was once again left out. The wicketkeeper-batsman lost his place to Jitesh Sharma during the tour of Australia and has not played in the playing XI since then.
Shubman Gill, who has faced difficulties in both the T20Is so far, is left in the final XI. He currently serves as the vice-captain of the T20I team. India won the toss and chose to bowl first.
South Africa made three changes to their playing XI. “The conditions are very cold, a bit different to Johannesburg at this time of the year. But it’s a nice pitch and it looks like a wicket that can get better as the game progresses. It was a good response. We were well below the target in the first game, so it was pleasing to see how everyone bounced back. Tonight is about backing that up and being consistent, which is always a challenge we look forward to. It looks good. We’ll take the first few overs and take it from there. Hopefully we can bat well again and put up a competitive score. We’ve played here a few times now.” We’re lucky to have it, day games, night games, it always feels different. Guys we’ve made three changes: Miller, Linde, Sipamla out,” SA captain Aiden Markram said.
