Telangana To Be Made Eco-Tourism Hub: Konda Surekha

Haydarabad: In a statement on Friday, the Minister of Environment and Donations Konda Surekha said that the government was working with a clear vision to turn Tahangana into an eco-tourism center. He said that the development of these projects should follow a holistic approach that respects local culture, tribal traditions and spiritual heritage.
Minister, Dr. BR Ambedkar chaired the Eco-Turism Project Scanning Committee meeting at the State Secretariat. The authorities accelerated the works, where Faz I was completed immediately II. It enabled FAZ II to start and formalization of projects received by TGFDC and TGTDC via Mous for better coordination.
Konda Surekha said that eco-tourism projects in the temple areas should also be spiritually developed. At the meeting, Ananthagiri Hills (Vikarabad), Kanakagiri (Khamam), Mucherla Eko Park (Nalgonda), Manjeera Wild Life Sanctuary (Sanggarereddy) and NandiPet, Mannanur, Domalapenta, Amaragiri, Pakhasi, Amaragiri, Pakhalasi and Vanasasthali.
Konda Surekha, who concluded the study, called on all departments to work together to create first-class eco-tourism experiences and added that Telangana would soon become national and international recognition in this sector.
