JNTU-GV Signs MOU With Germany’s Reutlingen University

Visakhapatnam: Jawaharlal Nehru University of Technology – Gurajada, Vizianagaram (JNTU-GV) has signed an agreement with the Knowledge Foundation University of Reutlingen (KFRU), Germany, to launch a 5-year International Integrated Bachelor and Master programme.

The collaboration will provide international standard training in Professional Software Engineering, Digital Engineering and Management. Students will receive a Bachelor’s Degree from JNTU-GV and a Master’s Degree from the University of Reutlingen, one of Germany’s institutions founded in 1855.

The program is planned to start in the 2026 academic year. Within the scope of the agreement, two senior students, one male and one female, will be offered a one-month unpaid internship opportunity in Germany.

Nallaparaju Bangara Raju, CEO, Indo-Euro Synchronization, played a key role in finalizing the MoU, while Project Leader Nikhileshwar Ventaddu coordinated the program activities.

Along with academic collaboration, Bangara Raju announced a skill development initiative offering free German language training for ITI Electrician aspirants. Candidates who qualify for German A2 Level Certification will be provided with employment opportunities in Germany through authorized channels. Registrations are open through the JNTU-GV website.

The initiative aims to prepare Indian youth for international careers by equipping them with language proficiency, communication skills and orientation to German workplace culture. Vice-chancellor VV Subbarao said the collaboration reflects JNTU-GV’s commitment to global employability, skill development and industry-integrated education.

The agreement in the form of MoU was signed under the leadership of Prof Subbarao and registrar-in-charge Prof D Rajya Lakshmi in the presence of directors Prof G Swami Naidu, Prof SK Vali, Prof G Jaya Suma, Prof GJ Naga Raju, principal-in-charge Prof KCB Rao and heads of various departments.

University officials expressed confidence that the partnership will create world-class education and employment opportunities for students and strengthen global academic and industrial integration.
