Air India Express to begin operations from Navi Mumbai airport: Check details of daily routes, flights, cities, more

According to a PTI report, the Air India Group announced that it will start services at the new Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) with low -cost service carrier Air India Express.
During the 1st stage of the plan, AI Express will begin commercial flight operations with 20 daily departure from Navi Mumbai with 20 departure per day. He added that the aim was to be scaled per day, including five international stops until the middle of 2026.
Air India’s MD and CEO Campbell Wilson said that the airline NMIA is “a point connected to the rest of India” and “Considering its strategic geographical location for both passengers and cargoes”.

According to the official declaration to the air tasks (NOTAM), the airport is closed for activities until the early hours of October 1 and the opening is expected on September 30, 2025.
AI Express, Akasa Air and APRT from Indigo made a certain number of flights starting from NMIA when the operations started.
