Britain’s first railway therapy dog starts work helping anxious passengers

The first therapy dog working for a UK’s railway company, the six -year -old German shepherd, helped passengers to reduce the anxiety on the transpennine Express trains. Former police officer Stephen O’Callaghan’a NYA, visiting stations throughout the country to visit the mood and social interaction to improve passengers and staff. Registered as therapy to pets, to stay calm, accept pats and even cheat, makes it both effective and fun. His success inspired other train companies, including the North, to introduce the therapy dogs to his services.
