Student attacks government school teacher with liquor bottle near Sivakasi in T.N.

Class 12 students, a 48 -year -old public school teacher A. Shahanmugasundararam’a allegedly attacked and on July 16, 2025 Wednesday near Sivakasi in the school facilities in Tiruthangal school facilities wounded him with a liquor bottle. Teacher was admitted to the State Hospital in Tiruthangal.

According to the police, the teacher stopped four students when they came to the class after lunch. After questioning them, Shahanmugasundaram would ask the students to report them before the school principal and walked towards his room. One of the students suddenly jumped to the teacher from behind and hit his head with a liquor bottle.

As the teacher gave an alarm in pain, other teachers and students came to save and took him to the hospital.

Police took the student to question.
