M23 traffic LIVE: Chaos on major UK motorway as road to remain closed | UK | News

The M23 in Surrey is closed to the north near the M25 after a accident at 6.45 this morning. National highways report that the road will remain closed for several hours without reopening. The road is closed between J8 (M25) and A237 (Coulsdon).

Surrey Police and South East Ambulance Service will currently continue at the scene and police collision investigations will continue. Drivers are currently directed through local routes and warned about re -guiding or delaying their journeys.
