Paris riots LIVE: Bus fire chaos as Macron gets ‘King Louis’ warning | World | News

On Tuesday, Emmanuel Macron appointed Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu as a new prime minister on Tuesday, and immediately assigned the country’s fragile political parties by trying to start agreeing on a budget for one of the largest economies of the world.
Lecornu, 39, was the youngest defense minister in the French history and the architect of a great military accumulation until 2030, encouraged by Russia’s war in Ukraine. For a long time a Macron Sadık, Lecornu is now the fourth prime minister of France in almost a year.
Lecornu, a former conservative who joined the Macron’s centralist movement in 2017, organized in local governments, overseas regions and during Macron’s yellow vest, during the “great debate”, when he helped to manage his mass anger with dialogue. He also held negotiations about autonomy during the unrest in Guadeloupe in 2021.
Mr. Lecornu replaced Francois Bayrou, who resigned from his post less than a year.
