Texas man rented a boat in Key West — then he took it to Cuba, deputies say
After saying that the deputies rented a boat rented to Cuba at Key West, a man of Texas was handcuffed on Thursday.
According to the Sharif office, the 63 -year -old Floyd Dean Dean Avier was arrested by federal agents on a Monroe district order in Miami.
Adam Linhardt, spokesman for Monroe County Sheriff Office, rented a 26.5 -meter panga boat from Beach Weekend Key West Marina on Tuesday for two days. Linhardt said the Rental Agreement will not be operated at night and will be returned at the end of the working day on Wednesday.
A marina employee said that Devasier had received an extra fuel store and filled him before leaving Devasier.
According to the Şerif office, Devasier said to his Marina personnel in the 6800 block of Front Street in Stock Island overnight. However, witnesses who have businesses and boats in Front Street, said the deputies never saw the boat and the deputies watched the security camera images from the region that never showed the ship.
Then the Marina staff used GPS monitoring showing the boat directed to the south in the Atlantic Ocean, but Linhardt said it stopped at the end of watching.
The Sheriff Office saw a man fishing on his boat in the ocean and took photos of the ship.

According to the Sharif Office, Devasier has several drugs on drugs, including a case in 2019.
