CMC organises health programme for school students in Vellore

Christian Medical College (CMC) Department of Anatomy is conducting a curriculum for high secondary school students on understanding the human body at the campus of Vellore in Vellore between 18-22 August.
According to a press release, the program titled “Corpora’ offers a unique opportunity for students who examine human biology to see the parts of the human body and learn important aspects of health.
More than 100 preserved samples, platinate, luminal casting, bone and model consisting of a careful curator collection, tamil and English labels and explanatory texts are shown, especially designed for high secondary school biology flow students.
Anatomy personnel are available on the site to clarify doubts and provide explanations. Health education is a part of the program in relevant issues such as release, healthy diet and lifestyle, smoking hazards, hygiene and organ donation.
