15 injured as RTC bus rams into paddy-laden tractor in Telangana’s Karimnagar

15 people were injured when a bus belonging to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) rear-ended a paddy-laden tractor on the Renigunta Bridge in Thimmapur mandal of Karimnagar in the early hours of Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
The incident occurred a day after an RTC bus and a dump truck collided in Chevella, killing 19 people and injuring more than 14 others.
According to Karimnagar Police Commissioner Gaush Alam, the accident was reported between 5 am and 6 am. While the bus was on its way from Hyderabad to Metpally, the tractor was busy transporting paddy locally for the harvest season. Due to the impact, approximately 15 passengers, including the driver, were slightly injured. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and later discharged.

“We are yet to ascertain the exact cause of the accident. Tire marks on the road indicate that the bus driver braked suddenly. However, investigation is on to determine the exact cause,” Mr. Alam said.
