Republican and conservative commentators criticize New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani During his inauguration on Thursday, he vowed to bring the “warmth of collectivism” to the city.

“We will replace the coldness of crude individualism with the warmth of collectivism,” Mamdani promised amid cheers from the audience during the swearing-in ceremony.

Taking away the individual’s right to life, freedom and the pursuit of happiness (property) is the purest form of communism. America’s greatest threat now lies within itself.”

“No, actually we are Americans and we don’t believe this nonsense.” protested Megyn KellyWhile a member of the Manhattan Institute Ilya Shapiro wrote“My family escaped the ‘heat of collectivism’…”

After being sworn in as the new mayor of New York City by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) In his speech, Mamdani described Sanders as “the man whose leadership I most seek to emulate.”

Sanders then addressed the crowd, demanding that “the rich and big corporations start paying their fair share of taxes,” before prompting listeners to chant “Tax the rich!” guided by his slogan.

The Senator took action when Mamdani, the city’s first Muslim mayor, took the oath of office using the Quran. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) to indicate that the “enemy” is “within the gates.”
