Buckingham Palace make major announcement about event in December | Royal | News
Buckingham Palace announced that the King and Queen will host the German President on an official visit in December. The following statements were made in the statement: “The President of Germany, accompanied by Ms. Büdenbender, will pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom, hosted by His Majesty the King, from Wednesday, December 3 to Friday, December 5.”
This is the first state visit from Germany in 27 years. This comes after I revealed in my column, Emily at the Palace, that the staff of Windsor Castle had already begun preparations to host another state visit in early December.
The German state visit was the third state visit hosted by the King and Queen this year. Following Macron and Trump’s successful visits in July and September.
