Kelly Brook had her first I’m a Celebrity jungle shower moment as she showered with campmates Shona McGarty and Alex Scott on Wednesday’s episode.

The former glamor model, 45, has previously admitted she takes her signature ‘pin-up’ role very seriously and even had her bikini screen tested.

Not disappointing, Kelly wore a low-cut palm leaf print swimsuit and wore her hair in a high bun.

She joked with Alex as she and her camp mates headed towards the creek and declared herself the ‘Jungle Lady’ as she pulled Shona into the water.

However, the fun was spoiled by those who noticed the leeches in the stream and quickly jumped out.

Kelly told the Bush Telegraph: ‘We were seconds away from being covered in leeches and eaten alive. My god! ‘We couldn’t get out of that pool fast enough.’

Ahead of his stint in the jungle, the presenter told the Mail on Sunday: ‘I’ve got loads of different brands. I have a bunch of different bikinis with me, so we haven’t chosen what to wear in the forest yet.

‘They’ve all gone to the wardrobe to be tested on camera, so they’ll be making the decision for me.’

As a young and dashing model in the nineties, she graced the covers of men’s magazines, then carved out a lucrative career as a presenter.

Although she made a name for herself in the tabloids as a ‘Page Three’ model, she warned ITV viewers: ‘I’m not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore.

‘You know, your life changes and your body changes and hopefully people will accept me and the way I look now and not compare me to how I used to look.’

Kelly said she plans to follow in the footsteps of fellow presenter Myleene Klass, who had tongues wagging after wearing a beautiful white bikini to the Jungle shower during her stint on the show in 2006.

The moment is etched in I’m A Celebrity history and it’s believed the move helped Myleene, 47, win second place on the show, with many celebrities trying to replicate the effect.

The radio host revealed that he spoke to Mylene before the Jungle mission, saying: ‘Myleene talked to me about the shower.’

Kelly turned heads Wednesday as she headed toward the lagoon built for the purpose of the show.

Ahead of the jungle trip, the presenter told the Mail on Sunday: ‘I have lots of different bikinis with me. ‘They’ve all gone to the wardrobe to be tested on camera, so they’ll decide for me.’

Kelly continued: ‘When she arrived she actually said she had to run out and buy a bikini. So I made sure to pack lots of swimsuits so we had lots of options.

‘But that white bikini she wore, that iconic scene in the shower looking incredible, it wasn’t pre-planned.’

‘I think it would be very difficult to recreate something like this; It was destiny that was meant to be and this was his moment.’

She previously starred in the erotic thriller Survival Island (2005) with her ex-boyfriend Billy Zane, whom she met on the set and with whom she dated between 2004 and 2008.

Like her famous jungle shower, Kelly donned her sexy white bikini in the film and showed off her sizzling gym-honed body.

However, Kelly later admitted that the film was a little too racy for her and requested that the producers remove her nude scenes before the film was released.

Kelly’s insistence was supported by Zane after they fell in love on set, but the request was rejected upon the film’s release in 2005.

Voted once Kelly, who was chosen as the ‘sexiest woman in the world’ by FHM with her size 8 body and 32E breasts, now plans to show the world that she has intelligence as well as beauty.

His careful game plan allowed viewers to see more sides of him as he embarked on an exciting new job, while gaining maximum exposure with his Jungle mission.

Kelly, who previously vowed to never appear on the show, plans to capitalize on her Jungle fame to launch the series a line of Italian food with her husband, Jeremy Parisi.

Revealing that she spoke to Mylene before the Jungle mission, the radio presenter said: ‘Myleene talked to me about the shower so I made sure I had plenty of swimwear with me.’

According to the GOV.UK website, Parisi has recently submitted documents to the UK Intellectual Property Office to trademark the name Arpino.

Legal documents reveal plans to sell ‘pizza’; pasta; pasta sauce’, plus olive oils, meats and cheeses.

Lawyers are still reviewing their application and the trademark will remain valid for 10 years once approved.
