Madhuri Dixit turns US live shows to meet and greet events after Toronto fiasco, fans say ‘apologise and stick to acting’

Madhuri Dixit arrived three hours late for her show in Toronto and disappointed her fans by performing only a few hook steps instead of the full dance performance as advertised.
Madhuri Dixit is currently on her Canada-US tour where the actress is expected to entertain the audience with her dance performances. But for his first show in Toronto on November 2, he arrived three hours late and performed only a few of his hook steps. As expected, Madhuri was widely criticized and trolled by the show’s attendees and netizens after several videos from the show went viral on social media.
After the show debacle in Toronto, Madhuri turned the rest of her shows in the US into meet-and-greet-only events. On Wednesday, November 5, she shared the new poster on her Instagram account, which reads, “Meet and Greet the Golden Diva of Bollywood Madhuri Dixit.” He was called out once again when netizens lashed out at him for not even apologizing for disappointing viewers in Toronto.
One Instagram user wrote: “It’s unfortunate that you said this was a meet and greet after your audience in Toronto, including myself, spent our money without proper information. I’ve been a fan since I was a kid and unfortunately I’m completely disappointed,” while another added: “You owe Toronto an apology for the fake ad. In your own post on your profile, it’s not called a Meet and Greet. You promoted it as a night of dancing, music and celebration.”
“What a disappointment this was! As a famous celebrity, it’s sad to see how you were either unaware of what was going on at your Toronto show or decided to walk away from it. Not only did the fans in attendance feel so dissatisfied and cheated, but even the local performers who were asked to come on stage the night before and promised to at least take a photo with you were treated so poorly,” read another comment. A netizen asked: “Why were you 3 hours late without apologizing? Please continue acting and leave this drama.”
One of her true fans also expressed her anger and wrote, “Madhuri Dixit Nene. I grew up loving and watching you. From now on. Toronto is very disappointed with your show. They were misled. False advertisements of what the show should be. What everyone expects and what it actually is.” Some users even questioned why people were paying him to watch it.
Madhuri Dixit’s next US shows are scheduled for November 6 in New Jersey, November 7 in Boston, November 8 in Chicago, November 9 in Houston, and November 15 in New York.
