University of Alabama names Morgan Grzybowski as 2025 homecoming queen

The University of Alabama has named Morgan Grzybowski, a senior from Wildwood, Missouri, as Capstone’s 2025 homecoming queen.
The homecoming queen announcement was made Nov. 14 at the UA Quad during a pep rally that included a bonfire.
Grzybowski is an expert in biology. She is also the co-founder of the women’s hockey team at UA. He also leads Dare to Diagnose, an organization of pre-health students focused on patient simulations.
The University of Alabama has named Morgan Grzybowski, a senior from Wildwood, Missouri, as Capstone’s homecoming queen on November 14, 2025.
As homecoming queen, Grzybowski had the opportunity to choose her on-campus passion project to receive donations from the Homecoming Queen Endowment Fund. He chose Remote Area Medical at UA, part of an organization that provides free dental, vision and medical care through mobile pop-up clinics across the United States.
“My ‘why’ began when my little sister was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Overnight, her childhood was filled with needles and uncertainty. As I walked alongside her, I witnessed the power of empathy to help someone feel seen and supported,” Grzybowski said in a news release from UA.

“This experience ignited my passion for medicine and my belief that compassion is one of the most powerful forms of leadership. This belief has shaped everything I have done at UA,” he said.
Grzybowski will be officially crowned during halftime of the Alabama-Oklahoma football game on November 15 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Sydney Blackhurst is a junior from Gilbert, Arizona, majoring in accounting. He is also a member of UA’s swimming and diving program.

Carrington Mills is a senior from Pelham majoring in chemical engineering.

Rachel Rybicki is a senior from Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, and a member of the UA gymnastics team. He is a double major in finance and economics and minor in Spanish.

Crawford West is a senior from Birmingham and a member of the track and field cross country team at UA. She is majoring in public health and minoring in sales.
