Terrifying moment Boeing plane loses part of wing in mid-air | World | News

A shocking video caught the moment when a boeing plane lost a part of the wing in the air. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating an incident in which a wing in the wing of Boeing 737 was partially separated before landing on Tuesday.

Delta Air Lines Flight 1893 was flying from Orlando International to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport when the passengers noticed that they were partially broken behind the wing. Shanila Arif, who caught shocking images, told CNN: “We felt that it was a bad turbulence. The plane was shaking. He opened the window and said it was broken. I opened the window and I was scared.”

The video showed that the plane dangled behind the wing while flying hundreds of miles per hour in the air.

He was afraid that if the part was completely broken, it could hit the tail of the plane and cause a collapse.

Delta Air Lines said in a statement, after landing, “the wing of the left wing was not in place,” he said.

“Airplane was excluded for maintenance.”

Fleps are the surfaces behind the wing designed to expand for take -off and landing.

The airline spokesman said: “DL 1893 safely and after landing in Austin without incident, some of the flap of the left wing was not in place.

“Airplane has been out of service for maintenance. We apologize to our customers for their experience, because nothing is more important than the security of our people and customers.”

There were 62 passengers and six crew members on the plane. Nobody was injured. Delta promised to cooperate with the FAA investigation.
