JD Vance appears to have been booed for the second time Winter Olympics inside Italy. Video posted on social media on Saturday shows the US Vice President and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, sitting in the concert hall.

Mr. Vance and his family arrived in Milan on Thursday, met with U.S. athletes and IOC President Kirsty Coventry and watched the U.S. Women’s ice hockey team’s opening game against the Czech Republic.
On Saturday, the Vances traveled some distance from the greater Milan area to see Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, “The Last Supper.” protest in the cityIt turned violent later in the day.
Italian police said about 10,000 people attended the demonstration against the environmental impact of the Games and the presence of US agents on Italian soil for the event. Demonstrators said they opposed the presence of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Italy.
This was despite official statements that a small number of agents from US Homeland Security Investigations would be present on US diplomatic territory and would not operate on the streets.
The ICE arm that is at the forefront of fighting immigration in the United States is known as Enforcement and Removal Operations. There is no indication that their officers are in Italy.
