Donald Trump’s 8 Epstein files horrors could spell distaster | US | News

Trump potentially faces multiple nightmares (Image: AFP via Getty Images)

Donald Trump’s White House went crazy last night trying to manage potentially damaging revelations from the Epstein files. The US President’s name appears dozens of times in emails sent from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate to the Congressional Committee; some of these could pose a serious threat to his presidency.

The volume of cables uncovered overnight by the House Oversight Committee is so vast that it takes time to determine the full content and decipher the context of the often fragmented conversations.

This week we examine some of the emails disclosed in the Epstein files.

A word of warning

It is important to remember two things when reading these messages. First of all, most of these messages were written by America’s most famous pedophile.

A man who abused underage girls and lied about it for twenty years. In most cases he was either trying to impress others or was desperately trying to clear his name after his crimes were discovered.

Second, many of the claims he makes in the emails are directly contradicted not only by Trump but also by his fixer, Ghislaine Maxwell, in an interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche earlier this year — although given his own crimes and the fact that he moved to a more comfortable location after giving the interview, we can take his claims with a grain of salt, too.

The White House denied allegations of abuse of power by Trump. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that Democrats selectively leaked the emails in order to “create a false narrative that would smear President Trump.”

That said, here are the most potentially concerning things we’ve uncovered from the Epstein files so far. Donald Trump.

1. Epstein was the ‘connective tissue’ between Trump and Andrew

Donald Trump’s former aide Steve Bannon has downplayed Jeffrey Epstein as the “connective tissue” between the US President and then-Prince Andrew.

During Trump’s first official visit to the United Kingdom in 2019, he and his wife Melania, along with then-Prince Andrew, paid their respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior. Shortly after footage of the incident emerged, Epstein sent Bannon a text message that read: “Prince Andrew and Trump today. Very funny.”

He then followed up with another message: “Remember Prince Andrew’s accuser came out of Mar A Lago.”

Andrew’s accuser, Virginia Giuffre, allegedly worked at the spa at President Trump’s Mar A Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, before being hired by Ghislaine Maxwell on behalf of Epstein. Bannon responded to Epstein: “I can’t believe nobody turned you into connective tissue.”

2. Trump is in your house

In a 2017 email exchange, Epstein describes a “more private” visit to the Paris apartment of an anonymous person; However, they stated that they did not want their visit to coincide with a visit from Trump.

“I’m at the door but I’ll bide my time.. I don’t want to come early and find Trump at your house,” they wrote.

Trump was not in Paris at the time.

He was attending a rally in Pensacola, Florida, the day the email was sent.

And it’s possible the sender was talking about a different Trump.

Donald Trump said he severed ties with Epstein in 2007 at the latest.

3. Epstein claimed he was in Trump Tower shortly before the 2016 election

…which makes this detail interesting.

In September 2016, shortly before Trump’s first election victory, former Microsoft Vice President Linda Stone emailed Epstein asking if he was still in Paris.

Epstein responded: “Trump Tower.”

Stone responded: “Perfect.”

Earlier in the conversation, the two had joked about whether he would be given a cabinet position in the next White House administration; Therefore, it is not entirely clear whether they are serious or not.

4. The dog that never barks

In an email exchange with socialite girlfriend and sex trafficking fixer Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein claims he spent “hours” with one of Donald Trump’s victims at his home, which the White House has since confirmed was a reference to Virginia Giuffre.

“I want you to know that the dog that doesn’t bark is trump card… , it wasn’t mentioned even once. Police chief etc. I’m 75 percent there.”

Maxwell replied: “I was thinking about it.”

5. ‘Trump knew it’… but ‘he never got a massage’

In February 2019, just months before his arrest on federal sex trafficking charges, Epstein sent a lengthy essay to author Michael Wolff that attempted to partially downplay his crimes before making claims about Donald Trump.

“[Name redacted] He worked at Mar A Lago Trump knew this. And he came to my house many times during this period.”

But she added: “She’s never had a massage.”

6. But Clinton ‘was never on the island’

Trump has frequently deflected allegations about his connections to Epstein by pointing to his predecessor and rival Bill Clinton.

“I wasn’t there at all,” he said in 2019. “So you have to ask: Did Bill Clinton go to the island? That’s the question. You’ll learn a lot if you find out.”

“You have to focus on that,” he said last year. [Bill] Clinton You should focus on the president of Harvard, the former president of Harvard. … I’ll give you a list. “These guys lived with Jeffrey Epstein, I certainly didn’t.”

However, Epstein stated in a 2011 email to Prince Andrew that “Clinton was never on the island.”

7. Photos of Donald and bikini girls in my kitchen

During multiple email exchanges between Epstein and New York Times journalist Landon Thomas Jr., the pedophile financier wrote: “Would you like to see pictures of Donald and bikini girls in my kitchen?”

However, the photos never emerged.

8. Trump was ‘so focused on young women’ that they walked through the door

In another fascinating exchange between Epstein and Thomas, she said the reporter should tell people who want “stimulating information” about her and Trump to “ask my maid that Donald left a nose print in the glass as he almost walked through the door while the young women were swimming in the pool, and that Donald was so focused he walked directly to the door.”
