Kotamreddy Presses For Quick Completion Of Nellore Flyover, Underpasses

Nellore: Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy urged the district authorities to expedite the construction of railway underpasses at Kondaya Palem and Bhaktavatsala Nagar and a flyover near Medicover Hospital at Chintareddypalem Junction in Nellore town.

In a presentation to district in-charge minister NMD Farooq on Saturday, the MLA said two underpass projects have already been approved and are in the land acquisition stage. He emphasized their urgency given the high volume of daily vehicle and pedestrian movement on these routes.

Kotamreddy said the completion of underpasses will help prevent railway level crossing accidents and improve public safety. He called for close coordination between regional authorities and railway authorities to speed up the work.

He added that proposals to build a flyover near Medicover Hospital have already been submitted. The MLA also appreciated the efforts of municipal administration minister Ponguru Narayana and MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy for their interest in expediting these important projects.

Kotamreddy urged the district in-charge minister to personally monitor the progress and ensure early completion of long-pending projects, fulfilling the long-standing demand of Nellore residents.
