A Kremlin propagandist has made a chilling World War III threat, naming five countries and regions he believes should be targeted as Russia steps up its rhetoric against Ukraine and NATO. Sergey Karnaukhov, host of the Russian radio show Karnaukhov’s Labyrinth on the pro-Kremlin Solovyov Live channel, called for military strikes on locations in Romania, Poland, Germany, France and the Baltic states during an angry broadcast.
The commentator claimed that Russia was approaching a “difficult line” beyond which Moscow would have to dramatically intensify the war in Ukraine. Referring to the Polish city of Rzeszow, which is an important logistics center for military aid to Ukraine, Karnaukhov said that countries supporting Kiev are afraid that “heavy missiles will fly to these points.” He singled out Romania and argued that Russia should begin attacking areas it claimed were working against Moscow, before calling for the destruction of military-industrial facilities in Eastern Europe. Karnaukhov said: “We must shatter all the objects of the military industrial complex in the Baltics, in Eastern Europe, certainly in Germany and France.”
The Russian host also called for dramatic escalation within Ukraine, suggesting that entire cities could be destroyed if Moscow moves to a higher phase of the conflict.
He claimed that if Russia changed the format of its military operation, “there would be nothing left of Ukraine.”
In one of the broadcast’s most alarming passages, Karnaukhov advocated giving civilians three days to leave targeted areas before large-scale attacks begin.
“Cities will be completely burned,” he said. “Then there are strikes and a complete clean-up.”
The propagandist called for the destruction of government, security and administrative infrastructure in Kiev and other major Ukrainian cities, demanding an attack on the port facilities of Odessa.
“Burn everything,” he said, citing data centers, police facilities, intelligence agencies, courts and local government buildings as he listed potential targets.
Although Karnaukhov does not speak on behalf of the Russian government, his comments offer a glimpse into the harsh rhetoric regularly published in Kremlin-linked media outlets.
