The Metropolitan Police said it was “increasing its police presence, carrying out additional community patrols and engaging with the Jewish community to understand what more we can do”.
“It is a terrible fact that Jewish communities around the world face an increased level of threat,” the agency said in a statement. The statement was included.

Chanukah, also known as Chanukah, is a festival of lights usually celebrated in December.
“We are devastated and outraged to see Jews in Sydney once again targeted for being Jewish,” JLC said in a statement. he said.
“While we are still reeling from the attack on a synagogue in Manchester on Yom Kippur, we know that such hatred exists in this country.
“As we prepare to celebrate Hanukkah over the next eight nights, we call on the government and law enforcement to work with our community to protect Jewish life in the UK and ensure this week’s events can go ahead safely. We must not let hate extinguish the festival of lights.”
